MOUNTAIN BIKING: Greenland Open Space

← CO TROUT CREEK FERN CREEK NEAR WESTCREEK CO Single Tracks →

Description

The trail configuration is a lollipop. Majority of the trial is double track with a few single track sections. There is nothing technical on this trail. There is about 500 feet of elevation gain. There is some sand on the trail but not much.

This is a good trail to ride in the winter. There are very few trees and the trail is relatively flat, but there are some hills to climb. With this in mind, the trail drys out fairly fast.

Directions

Coming from Monument Colorado, head North on I-25. About 5-6 miles North of Monument take exit 167. Turn left (west) and go under the interstate. You will now be on Greenland Rd. Follow this road for about 1 mile and you will reach the destination. About .5 miles into the 1 mile road the road will make a hard left turn toward the south. The road will run into the Greenland Open Space. <br />
